Secretarial Audit and Company Affairs Audit Checklist

So as per Section 204 of Companies Act 2013 Companies need to get secretarial audit done by a Practising Company secretary.

Following companies are required to obtain ‘Secretarial Audit Report’ form independent practising company secretary;

(1)   Every listed company

(2)   Public company having a paid-up share capital of Fifty Crore rupees or more; or

(3)   Public company having a turnover of Two Hundred Fifty Crore rupees or more.

There is also a specified scope of the same which should be covered in the Secretarial Audit or Corporate affairs audit. Today we are providing checklist for the Company affairs part of the same. this checklist can also be used during corporate affairs audit of any organisation.
